Sangam Bhandari

Sangam grew up in Nepal and has been living in the UK since 2009. He graduated as an aeronautical engineer and now works as a data analytics specialist with number of high profile clients e.g. PwC, Cabinet Office, Sony and Highways England. Sangam has been working with Save the Schools since 2009 and is passionate about helping and preserving schools in Nepal.



Shikha Neupane

Shikha currently works for Transport for London as a Product Manager for their digital technology platform. After graduating in Business Management, she joined Tesco and undertook various roles within Technology. She has been actively volunteering and contributing to the cause of raising educational standard in Nepal and is a proud member of our Save the School Foundation.



Sreiza Neupane

Sreiza moved to the UK at a young age with her parents. She graduated from Queen Mary University and joined PwC as an IT Risk Associate working with big financial institutions such as HSBC. She currently works at M&G as a IT Risk specialist. She actively volunteers at Save the School Foundation.

Carolyn, one of the active volunteers in wide range of Fundraisers:

1. Race for life - Cancer Charity.
2. Fundraiser for SaveTheSchool Charity - Since 2008 till current date.
3. Fundraiser for local Churches.

Binod Neupane

Binod was born and raised in Chainpur municipality of Nepal. He has graduated about 40 years ago. Ever since, he has been actively involved in the educational field in both Nepal and the UK. He went onto establish a private school named Vidhya Sadan High School in Kathmandu where he was Principal for 15 years and he chaired the National Private And Boarding Schools Association Nepal (NPABSAN) for Kathmandu district. During the tenure, he was involved in policy making to improve educational standard of schools through out the country. He has published various books including children's literature, school level reference books for secondary school students and teacher's guide and reference books which is still being used in Nepal. He has been affiliated with various government and non-government organisations in the field of education including UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet), where he was the national coordinator of Nepal and a member of accreditation committee in the UK. He has been honored with "National Education Day" award by the Government of Nepal for outstanding contribution in educational sector. Currently, He lives in the UK and worked at Thomas Tallis School for 16 years. He is very keen to make a difference in Nepalese educational field and through Save the School foundation, him and his team at the foundation had the privilege to deliver where it matters the most, rural Nepalese villages and with your help, we hope to continue doing so!

Sharmila Chapagain

Sharmila studied and grew up in Nepal. She is familiar with the Nepalese education system and the state of schools in Nepal. She has been key in raising funding for our foundation and selecting the projects in Nepal that impacts the most. She has a Bachelor in Arts from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
